Bill Stevens, Fenix Parts.

Bill Stevens has more than 25 years of experience in the auto recycling industry will serve as CEO of the new enterprise. He is a third-generation auto recycler who started pulling parts and worked his way up to Regional Vice President for Greenleaf and then Vice President of Operations for Schnitzer Steel. He had P&L responsibility for 18 full-service facilities and 26 total Greenleaf sites. Bill was voted “Locator Upfront Boss of the Year” in 2005 while working as a Regional Vice President for GreenLeaf.

He started consulting to the industry in 2009 and became President and Senior Partner of Counts Consulting in Texas, consulting with auto recyclers all over the world, including extensive work in Australia, Canada, and Central America.

In 2018, he joined Paul Delaney and Stoney Rutledge, former Greenleaf executives, to buy Fenix Parts, Inc., for which Bill is CEO.


Mike  Kunkel, Profit Team

Mike Kunkel has more than 35 years of experience in new, aftermarket, and used auto parts. He spent 19 years as General Manager  of American Auto Salvage in Ft. Worth. He has been a consultant with ProfitTeam Consulting in Ft. Worth, TX since April 2014. He also serves on the URG Advisory Board,  the Collision Industry Council, and I-CAR.


Jen Wilson, Jencey Consulting.

Jen (Jencey) Wilson has been training on a major yard management system since 2004. In 2006, she created her own company devoted to training and consulting salvage yards Jencey Consulting, LLC. The mission, to enhance a yards comprehension of their YMS product by streamlining processes and training. This mission was further expanded by partnering with the EZ Suite of products (EZ-Route, EZ-Runner and EZ-QC) and CarbenCode. Armed with over 15 years of customer service and technical knowledge she has a ‘boots on the ground’ approach to looking at problems and processes.

Gary Hayden, Fenix Parts.

Gary a strategic Human Resources professional with more than 15 years of experience corporate human resources in a multi-location, multi-national environment. He specializes in compensation and benefits management, recruiting, training, labor relations, safety, payroll, organizational development, and performance management.

Additional skills in compensation, benefits, training, safety, payroll and Gary also has ten years of engineering and manufacturing experience.


Theresa Colbert,

Theresa Colbert is an on-the-ground representative for She works with dismantling yards to help them decide which products in the Car-Part suite best fit their needs and shows them how they can optimize their part listings for online sales through eBay, Brokering, and Trading Partners. She does this by emphasizing the importance of accurate part grading and high-quality part images. She also stresses the huge value that cores have in today's market.

Theresa has been with almost eight years. Previously, she worked at Nu-Parts Automotive Products for ten years. Prior to Nu-Parts, she was the manager at Winter Auto Japanese Engines in Glendale, Arizona, and at AAA Economy Auto Parts in Phoenix, Arizona. With over 25 years of industry experience, she has seen the auto recycling world from almost every point of view. Theresa is on the Pennsylvania association event board, the Colorado association event board, speaks at industry trade shows, and writes a monthly article in The Recyclers Power Source, the Toolbox and several state association publications.

Sandy Blalock, ARA

Sandy is Executive Director of ARA and a lifelong auto recycler who helped run her family business, Capo’s Auto Recycling, in New Mexico starting in 1993. After her family sold the business to LKQ in 2009, she started Blalock Consulting in 2011 to give back to the industry and build up smaller state associations, especially through legislative activity. Sandy joined ARA as Executive Director in May 2018 and has been working to reorganize and enhance the organization.

Don Porter, URG

Don retired as a Property and Casualty Claim Consultant from State Farm Insurance Company’s corporate office in Bloomington, Illinois in 2012 after 34 years of service. He joined United Recyclers Group, LLC September of that same year and accepted the role of United Recyclers Group CEO in May of 2013.  He also serves as President of the URG Insurance Company, Inc. established fall of 2017 and the URG Scholarship Foundation. Don is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Don holds the following designations: Chartered Property and Casualty Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fellow, Life Management Institute, and Fellow, Financial Services Institute.  He is currently involved in a number of recycling and salvage industry projects and actively serves on a number of Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association committees.  His passion for the recycled parts and salvage industries makes him a valuable contributor to a number of industry business partners.  




Jim Butler, Butler Automotive Recycling


Jim is a second-generation auto recycler. He started as Vice President of Butler Automotive Recycling in Pensacola in 1986 and became President in 2001. He has opened and managed two ancillary yards in the past couple of years to take advantage of market opportunities. Jim is a Past President (2012-14) of FADRA and currently serves on the Board as a Director.


Paul Delaney, Fenix Parts, Inc.

Paul Delaney is CEO of Fenix Parts, joining former Greenleaf compatriots Bill Stevens and Stoney Rutledge with the company. After graduating from Fordham University in 1992, Paul worked for eight years with consumer products firm CSS Industries. He joined Greenleaf in 2004 and became the Vice President of Product Line Development. In 2009, he and Rutledge founded Late Model Auto Salvage in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jonathan Morrow

Jonathan is inventory manager of M&M Auto Parts in Stafford, Virginia and current President of the Automotive Recyclers Association. The company was founded by his grandfather in 1960. The yard currently sits on 44 acres and recently opened a 144,00 sq ft warehouse in Fredericksburg to provide indoor housing for inventory. At age 36, Jonathan has served as President of the Virginia Auto Recyclers Association and, after joining in 2007, moved up the ladder at ARA to become one of its youngest presidents. M&M has frequently served as a host for ARA yard tours and for foreign delegations of auto recyclers.


Justin Cipriano, Counselman Automotive Recycling

Justin has over 15 years of experience working in all aspects of the auto recycling industry. While working in Louisville, KY at Grade A Auto Parts he specialized in operating and managing hybrid facilities that focused on full-service sales, u-pick sales, and ferrous and non-ferrous scrap recycling. Justin participated in quality control and distribution panels while working within the PRP group. In 2014 he opened Environmental Solutions and Recycling in upstate NY. He now focuses on sales with Counselman Auto Recycling while pursuing his dream of owning his own salvage yard.

Todd Ensworth, CarEggs

Todd started Atlanta-based CarEggs “as a result of people at conferences asking about the software used at his yard, Atlanta European.” He had started Atlanta European, a specialty yard that sold almost exclusively online, in October 2008 and started CarEggs in March 2016. CarEggs uses eBay data to help recyclers find the highest demand parts from their cars. He also consults with recyclers on growing their E-Commerce and eBay sales as well as using their data to grow their wholesale business. Todd has owned multiple e-commerce businesses that have sold over 80,000 orders on eBay and even more through E-Commerce web sites.


Chad Counselman

Chad is a third-generation professional automotive recycler who is continuing his family’s 63-year tradition by operating facilities in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.  He employs 78 people across two production facilities, three distribution centers, and six sales offices in the southeast United States.  When he is not busy with obligations as the President of the Alabama Automotive Recyclers Association, the Director of the Recyclers Cross Dock, or the First Vice President of the Automotive Recyclers Association, he volunteers at his local church as the Director of Missions. Chad holds degrees in Business Management and Accounting from the University of Mobile.  He is active in lobbying in Alabama, Florida, and Washington, DC on behalf of the automotive recycling industry.

After all the seminars are finished, the Trade Show closes, join us as we come together for great food and fun at the closing event. This year’s party has a Superhero theme. You can go fishing on a local charter boat. In Clearwater, A Boat Day, Above Average Charters and the Calypso Queen go out daily. St Pete has several charters, including Allen’s Aquatic Adventures, Action Fishing Charters, Barracudaville Sportfishing Charters, Big Rod’s Charters, and several more.

For a golf outing, the Renaissance Vinoy Golf Club and Mangrove Bay municipal course are in St. Pete. Both are championship-level golf courses. The Dunedin Golf Club and Copperhead Course at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor are also nearby.
