![]() FADRA Hill Days on December 2-3, 2025 With Legislative Session taking place this January next year, FADRA members journeyed to Tallahassee for Committee Week on December 2-3, 2025. Several members and staff met with 33 Florida legislators in the Capitol, along with LKQ lobbyist Jorge Esformes. Our lobbyist, Amanda Fraser of Colodny Fass, and Legislative Chairman Steve Holland of Brandon Auto Salvage, led our groups as we targeted ne legislators and key committee chairs to discuss several issues. While no major bills affecting our industry have been filed this year, we wanted to call attention to possible bills concerning EV battery recycling, unlicensed salvage operators, and right to repair. Amanda monitors all activity in the Legislature and meets throughout the year with legislators, and she alerts our Legislative Committee with anything that can affect us. We enjoyed cool weather and a short walk from our hotel, The Aloft, to the Capitol building, and our schedule of meetings went off smoothly. Amanda hosted us for a Tuesday night dinner at the Governor's Club for a delicious meal and good fellowship. We will meet again in early 2027 for Hill Days, ad we hope to get more members outside the Board to participate.
